At William’s Knife & Trade Co., we stand behind our products. This warranty ensures your knife performs reliably for as long as you own it, provided it is used and maintained correctly.

1. Warranty Coverage

We warrant to the original owner that our knives are free from manufacturing defects in materials and construction. If a product is found to be defective under normal use, we will, at our discretion, repair or replace it with a comparable model at no charge.

2. Sharpening & Maintenance

We offer professional sharpening for any William’s Knife & Trade Co. knife.

• Process: Since our sales are conducted in person, we typically handle sharpening and warranty services through scheduled in-person appointments.

• Expectations: While our team can do amazing things with an edge, please note that manual sharpening is not "factory perfect." We aim for the best possible edge, but the knife will likely not return to an out-of-the-box factory state.

3. Customer Responsibility & Safety

Important Safety Warning: It is the customer’s responsibility to inspect their knife regularly. If you notice any part is loose, bent, broken, or damaged, stop using the knife immediately. Continuing to use a damaged knife is dangerous and can lead to serious injury or permanent damage to the tool.

4. Exclusions & Limitations

This warranty is non-transferable and does not cover:

• Normal wear and tear, rust, or corrosion.

• Damage caused by prying, hammering, throwing, or other forms of misuse/abuse.

• Modifications made by the owner or third parties.

5. Broken Folding Blade Policy

If you accidentally break the blade on one of our manual folding knives, we offer a flat-rate blade replacement for $20.00 USD.

Specific Exclusions: This replacement policy does not apply to:

• Fixed-blade knives

• Automatic (OTF/Side-opening) knives

• Butterfly knives (Balisongs)

• Discontinued models

6. How to Obtain Service

To request a warranty evaluation or sharpening:

1. Email Us: Contact service@wk-tc.com to describe the issue.

2. Schedule an Appointment: We will arrange a time to meet in person to handle the service.

3. Shipping: If you are not local, shipping options can be discussed on an individual basis when you apply for service.

4. Turnaround Time: Most services are completed within 1–4 weeks, depending on the level of work required.
